How far in advance should I order my cake? 

Custom cakes typically require a minimum of two to four weeks notice. And during busy seasons (the spring and fall), we often book up far in advance of that. However, we can occasionally squeeze in last-minute orders, so just ask.

How far in advance should I order my cake pops and do you have a minimum order size?

We recommend ordering cake pops at least one week in advance for standard round pops and at least two weeks in advance for any shaped or highly decorated pops. Our minimum order size is one dozen cake pops.  

What flavors do you offer? 

All of our cakes are baked from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. The list below includes some of our most popular cake and buttercream flavors. But if you have a favorite that isn’t here, just let us know. Every cake is custom-made, so we’re happy to accommodate special requests.

How much do your cakes cost?

Every cake is custom, and so we do not have a formal cost list. Pricing is based on the number of servings and the complexity of the cake design. We have a minimum order size of $200, and cakes typically start around $7 per serving.  We ask for a 50% deposit to hold the date. 

I’m not sure I like the taste of fondant-covered cakes. Can you make my cake only with buttercream? 

Yes, we absolutely can decorate entirely with buttercream (or ganache), assuming the cake design translates well to this medium. However, we recommend that clients looking for intricate or highly polished designs, as well those serving cakes during the warmer months, consider fondant. A thin fondant cover on cakes creates a polished and flawless surface that enables a much wider array of design possibilities. It also helps to insulate cakes and keep them mouth-wateringly moist. All of our cakes are filled with several layers of silky buttercream. Before decorating we cover each cake with a thin layer of white or dark chocolate ganache (or another layer of buttercream), followed by a very thin layer of fondant. We use the very best fondant on the market, which is honestly yummy and a welcome surprise for those who have tasted the cheaper commercial varieties.

We do offer delivery in the New York City area. The delivery fee depends on location. Please contact us for further information.

Do you ship cakes? 

Unfortunately we cannot ship our cakes due to their fragile nature. However, we can ship cake pops.
